Who is David Voros?

David was born and raised in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.  He earned a B.A. in History from Mount Saint Mary's College (now University) in Emmitsburg, MD. and a Master’s in Library Science from Drexel University in Philadelphia. David worked professionally in the Library/Information Technology field for 38 years before retiring in 2013. He now resides just outside of Kutztown, PA.

His passion for photography was influenced by photographers such as  Ansel Adams, Edward Weston, Joel Meyerowitz,  and local photographer Theo Anderson.  The subjects of his photos are as diverse as his interests in life and exemplify such themes as the raw beauty of nature, rural farmlands, urban photography, and the simplicity of people going about their daily lives.

Now that he is retired, David is free to learn and explore artistic expression through photography, and wants to create beautiful images to be shared. He completed a number of photography classes and photo shoots taught by local professional photographers.  He is currently enrolled in the New York Institute of Photography's Certificate Program.
